Trinity County RCD Conservation Scholarship Fund
The Trinity County Resource Conservation District Conservation Scholarship Fund was established by the TCRCD Board of Directors in 2014. The purpose of this scholarship fund is to encourage and support high school seniors, graduates, and continuing education students from Trinity County who are or will be pursuing a college or university degree in natural resources management or planning, resource conservation, or environmental sciences. Students pursing degrees in biology, chemistry, ecology, environmental education, environmental science, fisheries, forestry, geology, natural resources, watershed science, wildlife or other related fields are eligible to apply. The current amount available to students for this school year are two scholarships at $500.00 each. The application deadline is April 7, 2024.
Tax deductible donations to this fund can help maintain funding from year to year and to increase the offered amount when possible. Donors can create an enduring legacy that perpetuates a commitment to natural resources and conservation education by supporting this scholarship fund. Please give thought to this new opportunity for contributions to a community-based scholarship program that emphasizes natural resources and conservation in Trinity County.
